Bots And Bullies
The market is a jungle. If you're a trader or think you are a trader it's a jungle. Snake oil salesman and every one has an opinion.
EVERYONE has an opinion.
I used to think that it's all rigged. That it's all market theory gone whack. It's not.
It's a bunch of bots and bullies that don't need your money. But they want your money. There might even be a bot that trades against you. There might be a bot that fades you everytime you sign on to the 'broker' bucker account. Fades you everytime you search. Fades you everytime you enter size or don't enter size.
Bucker
Be a bucker. Everytime you feel scammed or think the market is rigged. Repeat "No weapon used against me shall prosper." Just keep repeating that if you feel the urge to act out of anger or emotion.

Smoke and mirrors tied to your portfolio delta. Smoke and mirrors tied to the size of your account. Smoke and mirrors tied to the frequency that you trade. Revenue as a percentage of your portfolio size.. It's from small to large. The little guy with the small account is just easy low lying fruit. If you think your a big guy and you start laying down size. Look out. Danger Danger Will Robinson.

You get played every time you sign on to your account or make a search or put an order in the que. You got played. It's how you react to that which determines your success. We are not offering you a holy grail or means to an end. We are just putting it out there. You are free to disagree, clearly.

That Bully That Just Faded You In The Market Que. That's Real. It's not your imagination. That bot just busted you and it is waiting for you to react. How do you react? By putting a bunch of size in the que? By putting some random prices in the cue? By ticking up or down your price in the cue? Yeah. That will all have some effect. If you don't believe me just try it.

Keeping your hand off the mouse does have some effect for you psychologically. But the bot still sees you there. Signing off completely with radio silence. Yes that's pretty definitive for the bot The bot doesn't have much info to go on when you sign off. It just has your position. Now when you sign back on. Don't give the bot much time to react. Act fast. Play fast. Do your thing and be done.

So What Is The Bot Going To Do? That bot is seeking out (overweight) high or low delta relative to portfolio size. It's going to seek out those small accounts that have a large one sided delta (big delta). It's going to stress them until they break. Then it's going to search out the next highest delta relative to portfolio size and break that guys account. That's how it goes down the list. Unless, of course, some big new guy is pounding his chest with overweighted delta that can be broken for the big pay off. It's a business silly. It's not there for you to make money.
